The coronavirus has prompted drastic changes to our everyday life in order to slow the spread of the viral outbreak. The illness was first reported in China in December 2019 and is now known as a pandemic unfolding across the globe.

The coronavirus is spread through respiratory droplets when a sick person coughs or sneezes. People within 6 feet of an infected individual are most at risk for inhaling these droplets.

Coronavirus symptoms include a runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever and shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. Some are mild, such as the common cold, while others are more likely to lead to pneumonia.

If you decide to wander outside of your relationship you are opening the door to other diseases besides STD’s and STI’s with the Coronavirus spreading like wildfire if you decide to cheat on your partner you are inviting the virus into your family.

Be cautious of your decisions. Protect yourself and most importantly be prepared with food pantry staples, such as canned beans and other vegetables, tuna, fruit, pasta and soup, as well as dried fruit, nuts and seeds. High-fiber cereals, oatmeal, granola and protein bars are also good to have on hand. Take care of your family.

CDC recommends these everyday actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. I soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

At the time it is recommended to practice “social distancing” to prevent the spread of the virus. This virus will make it difficult to have an encounter with a significant others. Especially if you contract the virus you will be “self quarantined” and asked to stay away from others.

Stay safe, stay clean and take all proper precautions to prevent getting the virus.
