Relationships can be complicated especially in a love triangle. This story is no different. The past actions and an accomplice mistress came back to haunt Patrick Frazee when he went to trial for the murder of his fiancée.
Frazee was charged with first-degree murder of his fiancée, Kelsey Berreth, on Thanksgiving, 2018. He deliberately beat his soon to be wife to death then burned her body. A year later her body still has not been found.
Frazee’s mistress Krystal Lee Keeney, testified during Frazee’s trial. She said her lover asked her to help clean up the bloody crime scene at Berreth’s condo, after Frazee demanded her to come help him clean up the mess she claimed Frazee told her he used a baseball bat as the weapon to kill her. She also testified she was with Frazee when he burned Berreth’s body at Frazee’s mother’s ranch.
Besides helping with tampering the body Keeney also testified saying she took Berreth’s phone hundreds of miles from Colorado to Idaho, to throw off the missing person investigation.
The jury found Patrick Frazee guilty of murder. He is sentenced to life in prison without parole for the death of Kelsey Berreth.
